Eleasha Gall, CPDT, APDT, IAABC
She started her training career in South New Jersey at the Ocean City Humane Society in the mid-1980’s. After learning some training techniques she continued to assist with any trainer she could find. After a few years she also tried out dog grooming but found training was her passion.
In the early 1990’s she started volunteering with various pet rescue groups and started the Bucks County chapter of the English Bulldog Rescue.
After moving to North New Jersey Eleasha found numerous rescue groups to volunteer with. She fostered over 100 dogs and 30 cats with Animal Allies, People for Animals and Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue. She also raised 2 litters of puppies having them house trained and knowing their basic commands by the time they went to their new homes at 8 weeks old. She also visited the Chicago Shedd Aquarium and had a chance to work with their beluga whales.
She attends at least 100 hours of seminars and training classes every year in order to keep up with new methods and techniques. A traditional trainer originally, Eleasha switched over to the clicker method in about 2000. Amazed with the speed and reliability it provided she had to relearn dog training but is glad she did. Robin came to Sit Stay Play! in 2004 after adopting a new and crazy dog who was completely unresponsive to traditional training techniques. She enrolled the dog at Sit Stay Play! and was blown away not only by how fast and easy the training was, but also by the immediate difference it made in her dog, without destroying her larger-than-life personality. She started spending so much time training and loved it so much that Eleasha finally agreed to start apprenticing her! She soon enrolled in Pat Miller’s Training Academy in the summer of 2005 and has been teaching classes part time ever since. By day she is a scientist at Merck & C0. and so brings a very scientific approach to her training. She attends as many classes and seminars as she can and is also a foster home for the French Bulldog Rescue Network.

As a fellow dog trainer and former employee of Eleasha Gall, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand Eleasha’s impressive dedication to the field of dog training. She is a gifted and enthusiastic teacher and coach of both people and dogs. She teaches with a sense of confidence and authority, but also manages to remain entirely approachable, entertaining and open to all of her students’ concerns. Eleasha obviously has a thorough understanding of behavioral science and learning theory and as a dog trainer and handler, she excels, using gentle but effective methods. She continues to inspire me, other colleagues, and her clients to reach their fullest potential.
